The Shepherd University Program Board (PB)
A subcommittee of the Student Life Council at Shepherd is made up of student leaders who create community on campus by sponsoring diverse, inclusive programming to educate, entertain, and engage students. Program Board Executive Leadership Team members develop strong leadership skills and learn how to plan, market, and assess diverse cultural, recreational, educational, and community-building programs. Program Board's efforts support the core values of the University and the Division of Student Affairs: student learning; engagement; integrity; accessibility; community; social justice/diversity; and retention.
My job is all about environmentally engineering cool learning opportunities. I am responsible for training and advising the Shepherd University Program Board (an amazing job!). It is teaching outside the classroom. Rachael lives in Shepherdstown with her wonderful husband and two gorgeous daughters. Some of her favorite things are old-time music, gardening, fried green tomatoes, and Battlestar Galatica (millenial version).

Adam Ritchey is a junior graphic design major and a member of the Shepherd Football team. Like Mike he has multiple personalities and keeps all of Program Board very entertained. In his free time he likes to go fishing.
Andrea is a second year Political Science Major. She is from Elkins, West Virginia and is a typical girl meaning who likes to shop, hang with friends, and get her nails done. She is shy when she first meets someone but that never lasts long. Andrea is very loud and energetic once she gets to know you. She would die without her cell phone. Katy Coleman thinks I'm awesome.
Bryan is a 2nd year student pursuing a dual degree in International Relations and Creative Writing. He is otherwise active on campus in SGA, Young Democrats, and both the Theater Department and Rude Mechanicals.
Hello! I'm Katy, I work on PB and love it!! It's so much fun. I'm 3rd year Mass Comm student here at Shepherd. I'm quite crazy, but don't be afraid. I'm a theatre and disney geek. I'm a pinterest addict. Someone told me I was delusional once, I almost fell off my unicorn. You'll learn to love my sweet, witty and at times weird personality.
Mike Haynes is from Richmond, VA and is a junior graphic design major. He is a member of the Shepherd Football team and has multiple personalities. He enjoys hanging out with people and an occasional sponge bath.
Nicole is a Junior Elementary Education Major. She is very involved on campus being active in Alpha Phi Omega, Habitat for Humanity, SGA, and Big Brothers/ Big Sisters.
Nicole is a busy bee that is always buzzing around campus with a Diet Coke in hand and rarely has time to sleep, but loves the busy lifestyle. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and loves to joke around. This is her second year on Program Board and hopes to provide everyone will crazy fun memories while at Shepherd!
Stephanie is a second year who has recently declared nursing as her major. Although she comes from the great state of Maryland, the Boston Red Sox will always be her favorite baseball team. This is Stephanie's first semester on Program Board as well as a member of Alpha Phi Omega.
She sticks to a strict diet which consists of cheese pretzels, soda, candy, and grilled cheese. Lastly it is important to know that she is quite talented at making weird faces without meaning to.
